Not a soul should be up this early, she thought to herself with a shudder as she stared sleepily out the window blotted with dried raindrops and tiny specks of dirt.  Pricked with intermittent specks of light flashing by, she could see farmhouses in the dark countryside and wondered blearily if anyone in the houses were actually awake.  The sun was nowhere to be found.
The soft blue light of her watch displayed the time to be 3:22 am.  Though the ride was strangely relaxing, she wished time would pass a little more quickly than it was at the moment.  Sighing, she rested h
