Hooray, I got Paint Shop Pro on Amazon for $25! I was playing with it and finally came up with this! I love the end result! After not being able to find the CD for it to re-install it for YEARS, it feels great to photomanipulate again.
The girl is a statue symbolizing of how rigid expectations can be, larger than life symbolizing how huge the person on the pedestal is to the person who put them up there, and faceless since the rigid expectations are often unrealistic and do not reflect the true nature of the person on the pedestal.
The guy climbing up the pedestal would symbolize the one who put the person on the pedestal and the fact that he has to climb all the way up into the clouds symbolizes his obsession and what lengths he will go to due to that obsession.
